• Once you receive confirmation that the item will be/has been shipped, please forward us the tracking number and all shipping information to EMAIL: sales@jrfex.com. It is imperative that you supply the tracking number to ensure the items is received & secured properly. If you receive communication that the package was unable to be delivered, etc., please forward us that email. Often, we will pick-up the package from the sorting facility later that evening, or the very next morning since delivery times are often scattered. You will be notified once the package is on our possession and ready for pick-up. 

• We operate by appointment only we do not accept walk-ins. All firearm      transfers/pick-ups require an appointment, and your transfer fee payment will be due at time of pick-up. Once your item has arrived, you will be contacted with a link via text message and/or email, to schedule your appointment. Do not travel to our location without an appointment!!!  

• ALL TRANSACTIONS REQUIRE THE COMPLETION OF ATF 4473 FORM AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
  The process can only commence at the time of pick-up/on location. We will make a copy of your government/state issued ID and CPL if you have one. The information from ATF 4473 form and your driver’s license will be required to input the information to the FBI inquiry database. The FBI will need to response before the transaction can continue. A CPL is required for ALL HANDGUN purchases. If you DO NOT have a CPL, you will need to obtain a “permit to purchase” from your LOCAL police department.  

-What does mean if a “delayed” response was received: 

The FBI may allot an addition 72-business hours (3-business days) to complete the inquiry. They will generate a date in which the transaction and continue, if no further response has been received. For example: if a delayed response is received on Monday, the FBI will give the date for Thursday of the week, in which if no response is received (proceed or deny) then the transaction can continue. During the waiting period, the firearm will be secured and stored within our possession, in accordance with federal regulations. 

- What does mean if a “denied” response was received: 

in the event the inquiry is denied, unfortunately the process cannot proceed any further. The item will be returned to the sender/seller, and you will be responsible to make arrangements for refunds if applicable. Please be aware, most sales are final. J.R. Firearm Exchange is not responsible for any denied inquires, subsequent actions that follow, refunds, etc. However, you will not be charged anything from us. 

> The cost for all transfers of items from other merchants (meaning they were shipped to us) is a flat rate of $60.

> The cost for private party transfers (private sell to friend, relative, etc.) is $40.

> There is NO FEE / COST for items purchased directly from JRFEX! So...buy your items from us!
